BBC 1: Phil Tuffnell climbs Stenigot Mast with the RAF

On Wednesday’s One Show Phil Tuffnell continues his tour of the UK looking at iconic RAF structures. The 110m mast at RAF Stenigot was part of the country’s long-range early warning radar during WW2 – today it is used to train Service personnel. Phil said: “I climbed to the top and I was terrified!
